TRAVEL & STAY
All events will be taking place near Saint-Émilion
Planes, trains, and automobiles
Saint-Émilion is a 45-minute drive east of Bordeaux (you know, like the wine!). There are several ways to get there…
There are many direct and connecting flights to Bordeaux–Mérignac Airport; from there, we will be arranging two shuttles to Saint-Émilion — one in the early afternoon and one in the evening. If you’d like to take one of our shuttles, please send us your itinerary so we may accommodate as many people as possible. If preferable, you can also rent a car, take a cab, or take an easy 35-min train to St. Émilion.
If you’re flying into Bordeaux…
From Paris, there are many ways to get to Saint-Émilion. The most common way is to take a high-speed TGV train (approx. 2.5 hours) to Bordeaux, where you can then take one of our two shuttles (one in the early afternoon and one in the evening), rent a car, take a cab, or transfer to another 35-min train to Saint-Émilion. If you’d like to take one of our shuttles, please send us your arrival time in Bordeaux, so we may accommodate as many people as possible.
If you’re in the mood for a bit of a road trip, you can also rent a car in Paris and weave through the countryside on a 5.5 hour drive directly to Saint-Émilion (see this helpful article for some fun things to do + see along the way).
If you’re flying into Paris…
We’ve been practicing our wine-drinking + meat-and-cheese-eating skills for many years in preparation for this moment.
We hope you have been, too…
Where to stay
Saint-Émilion is a tiny medieval village… and we’re taking it over! We are organizing blocks at hotels across town, all within five-minute walking distance of each other. We will share more information by mid January!
