TRAVEL & STAY

All events will be taking place near Saint-Émilion.

Planes, trains, and automobiles

Saint-Émilion is a 45-minute drive east of Bordeaux (you know, like the wine!). There are several ways to get there…

There are many direct and connecting flights to Bordeaux–Mérignac Airport; from there, you can rent a car, take a cab, or take an easy 35-min train to Saint-Émilion. We are also planning to arrange a shuttle from the airport to Saint-Émilion, so please send us your itinerary if you’d be interested in that service; we’ll try to book a time that can accommodate as many people as possible!

If you’re flying into Bordeaux…

From Paris, there are many ways to get to Saint-Émilion. The most common way is to take a high-speed TGV train (approx. 2.5 hours) to Bordeaux, where you can then rent a car, take a cab, or transfer to another 35-min train to Saint-Émilion. As mentioned above, we are planning to book a shuttle from Bordeaux to Saint-Émilion; if you’d be interested in that, please send us your arrival time in Bordeaux, so we may accommodate as many people as possible!

If you’re in the mood for a bit of a road trip, you can also rent a car in Paris and weave through the countryside on a 5.5 hour drive directly to Saint-Émilion (see this helpful article for some fun things to do + see along the way).
